Welcome to the World Christopher! | A Lifestyle Newborn Session in South Riding, VA

This handsome guy is the newborn son of our dear friends, Kerry & Jon.  Little Christopher went easy on Kerry during her pregnancy (she LOVED being pregnant!) and was just as well-behaved during his lifestyle newborn session in the couple's new home in South Riding, VA.  He was sweet and cuddly and loved to put his cute little flaky hands in his mouth.  Oh, how I love that newborn flaky skin!  It's such a temporary thing, and I love the idea of a newborn baby's skin adjusting to life on the outside, getting his 'land skin' so to speak.

Kerry and Jon created the cutest nursery for their little buddy with a beautiful feature wall over the crib.  One of my favorite parts of the nursery was the framed pictures over the dresser.  There are three spots for photos, but one is empty.  When I asked them about it, they told me that one photo is of Jon being baptized and the other is of Kerry's baptism.  The empty frame will be for Christopher's baptism photos!  How meaningful!!

Even puppy dog, Duke, loves the newest addition! Kerry, you're beautiful!!  So happy for you and Jon! xoxo
